The final Steam trophy — and why Speedrun Mode is the proving ground.
Master Organizer is the capstone of Cellar Keeper’s 10 Steam achievements. Community reviews and achievement hunters consistently link it to finishing the cellar under Speedrun Mode rules: no Cozy skill upgrades, pure movement and label literacy, with online leaderboards watching your clock even if you only care about the trophy.
Do not attempt this achievement on your first night. Clear Cozy Mode once, learn symbols, then return.

Why Speedrun Mode?
Speedrun disables the seven Cozy upgrades. That matches the spirit of a “master” clear: you organise 2,448 bottles with baseline tools only. Leaderboards track time, but the achievement cares that you finish under those constraints — treat time as optional pressure.
Hardcore Mode is a separate challenge with breakage risk — it does not substitute for Speedrun when hunting this trophy. Stay in Speedrun Mode until the cellar is fully yellow.
Prep checklist (still in Cozy)
- Memorise at least one full wing’s cabinet symbols.
- Practice ten-bottle hauls without mixing brands.
- Note which series lengths appear most often.
- Screenshot or jot a personal route order (central map → outer wings).
- Warm up with a short Speedrun attempt you intend to abandon.
- Run Find Misplaced Bottles audits on finished wings so hidden gray errors do not surprise you mid-Speedrun.
Speedrun execution tips
Routing. Pick a loop that rarely doubles back. Finish an entire cabinet before walking away. Floor bottles that belong three rooms away stay on the floor until that wing’s turn.
Carry discipline. Ten slots are your only “Batch Grab.” Fill them with one destination whenever possible.
Feedback. Yellow means lock it and move on. Gray means fix immediately — Speedrun punishes ignored mistakes harder because you lack Auto Place.
Map usage. Open the map enough to stay oriented, not so often that you idle. Keyboard players may prefer mouse map panning — Keyboard and Mouse.
Pacing. You do not need a leaderboard record. Many keepers take multiple hours on their first clean Speedrun clear. Pause for water, save if the mode allows, and fix gray flashes the moment they appear — one shelved mistake can cascade into a long audit later.
Common failure points without upgrades
Without Spot Matches, you must visually scan floors and tables for matching labels. Without Batch Grab, every pickup is manual — resist the urge to grab random nearby bottles “just because.” Without Auto Place, precision matters on high shelves.
Series numbers (n/N) still matter. A correct wine type and brand on the wrong series slot gray-flashes even when the cabinet is right. Review Series Numbers before your serious attempt.
Practice runs versus trophy runs
Your first Speedrun attempt should be disposable. Learn where you waste minutes — wrong wings, overflowing carry lists, ignored gray flashes — then start a serious run. Leaderboard perfection is optional; achievement hunters only need a finished clear under Speedrun rules.
If you discover two bottles still wrong at the “end,” stop the timer mindset and follow Find Misplaced Bottles before rage-restarting. Speedrun without audit skill is how people replay the last hour repeatedly.
Input recommendations for the final trophy
Some keepers prefer keyboard precision for shelf clicks; others like controller comfort for long walks. Test both during warm-ups — Controls hub. Full controller support is listed on Steam, but your personal accuracy matters more than the marketing badge.

Most keepers unlock First Rack through Cellar Expert in Cozy. Peak Efficiency and No Shortcuts may still be missing; they reward tidy, deliberate play more than raw speed. Finish them before or after Master Organizer — order is flexible as long as Master Organizer’s Speedrun clear is clean.
After you unlock it
- Check Steam overlay to confirm the unlock synced.
- Optionally push a cleaner leaderboard time.
- Return to Cozy for chill sorting or Hardcore experiments.
