Unlock every skill — all seven abilities, five levels each.
Peak Efficiency rewards full mastery of Cellar Keeper’s Cozy Mode skill tree. Steam lists the requirement as: Unlock every skill. That means purchasing all seven abilities to their maximum five upgrade levels each — not merely reaching a speed threshold or completing a set number of racks.
Peak Efficiency is independent of rack-count trophies. You could unlock Master Organizer at 200 racks while still missing Sprint level 5. Plan spending deliberately with the Skill Planner and Skills Tier List.

How skill points work
You earn points by completing shelves in Cozy Mode. Smaller shelves pay first, which is why early wings feel rewarding and cathedral racks feel stingy. If points run dry before you max everything:
- Finish more incomplete shelves — even partial progress on nearby racks.
- Prioritise short series (
3/3,4/4) for faster payouts. - Avoid spreading half-finished shelves across too many rooms.

Recommended upgrade order for Peak Efficiency
Most keepers max Peak Efficiency naturally if they follow community priority:
- Batch Grab — essential multi-pickup; each level pulls more bottles.
- Spot Matches — essential highlights; pairs with Batch Grab.
- Quick Order — midgame carry list sorting after Batch Grab scales.
- Target Hint — midgame routing when you know what to pick but walk wrong.
- Sprint — movement speed for long cellar walks.
- Auto Place — late luxury for precision placement.
- Jump — situational vertical aid; finish last unless your cellar layout demands it.
Each skill has cooldowns between activations (Sprint and Jump excepted per player reports). Upgrades shorten cooldowns and improve potency — five levels per skill.
Cooldown refresh tip
Optional community-known tip: quitting and relaunching Cellar Keeper refreshes skill cooldowns without resetting bottle placement. Useful between wings when pushing long sessions toward Peak Efficiency — not required for the achievement.
Relationship to Perfect Order
Peak Efficiency can be earned during the same Cozy run that leads to Perfect Order. Neither blocks the other. Many keepers unlock Peak Efficiency mid-campaign while Cellar Expert (100 racks) and Master Organizer (200 racks) pop along the way.
Do not confuse Peak Efficiency with No Shortcuts — the Speedrun trophy requires no skills at all.
Common blockers
- Hoarding unspent points — if you finish the cellar before maxing Jump, you may need extra shelves or a post-completion Cozy file.
- Skipping movement skills — Sprint and Jump count toward “every skill.”
- Switching to Speedrun early — skills do not carry over; Peak Efficiency needs Cozy purchases.
After Peak Efficiency unlocks
- Check Steam overlay for sync.
- Enjoy faster sorting on remaining racks.
- Aim for Perfect Order if not yet earned.
- Attempt No Shortcuts in Speedrun when ready.
