Cellar Keeper Quick Order Skill Guide
Automatic carry list sorting so you place bottles in logical sequence.
Quick Order is a midgame Cozy Mode skill in Cellar Keeper that reorganises your left-side carry list into a logical placement sequence — typically sorting by brand and then series number (n/N). After Hotfix #1, player reports note it sorts by brand first, then series order, which matches how shelves expect bottles to arrive.
You can carry up to ten bottles at once. Without Quick Order, the list reflects pickup order — which may scramble series sequence and cause you to walk back and forth along a shelf. Quick Order turns a chaotic armful into an orderly queue ready for left-to-right placement.
What Quick Order does
When activated (or passively applied depending on level — verify in-game tooltips), Quick Order reorders bottles in your carry list so the next bottle you place is the correct series slot for the shelf you are working on. It does not pick bottles for you — that is Batch Grab and Spot Matches. It does not point you toward cabinets — that is Target Hint.
Think of Quick Order as queue management for your hands.
Why Quick Order matters midgame
Early Cellar Keeper is about finding bottles. Midgame is about efficient shelf completion when your carry list mixes multiple brands from a Batch Grab sweep. Quick Order reduces:
- Accidental out-of-order placements that gray-flash.
- Mental overhead counting which
4/9should land before5/9. - Backtracking along a shelf you already walked.
On the Skills Tier List, Quick Order sits in strong midgame tier — after Batch Grab and Spot Matches foundations, before luxury picks like Auto Place.
Upgrade timing
Recommended window: unlock Quick Order level 1–2 after Batch Grab reaches level 2–3 and you routinely fill six or more carry slots per trip. Full priority chart: How to Prioritize Skills.
Each of the five levels improves sort speed, coverage, or cooldown — exact scaling is in-game. Budget skill points from small shelf completions first.
Synergy with other skills
| Partner skill | Synergy |
|---|---|
| Batch Grab | Pulls many bottles; Quick Order sequences them |
| Spot Matches | Finds matches; Quick Order orders the haul |
| Target Hint | Gets you to the cabinet; Quick Order handles shelf order |
| Auto Place | Late-game placement assist after list is sorted |
Juggling Act (hold ten bottles) becomes easier to verify when Quick Order keeps the list readable — especially after Hotfix #2 added the carry counter UI.
Mode limitations
Speedrun Mode disables Quick Order. Speedrun runners must manually track series order in their heads — another reason to learn labels in Cozy before No Shortcuts.
Hardcore Mode keeps Quick Order but does not prevent bottle breakage from careless movement.
Common mistakes
- Buying Quick Order before Batch Grab scales — you rarely fill enough slots to need sorting.
- Assuming Quick Order fixes wrong bottles — if Batch Grab pulled the wrong brand, sorting will not save you.
- Ignoring map symbols — Quick Order sequences carries; it does not choose destinations.
Cooldown note
Like most Cellar Keeper skills except Sprint and Jump, Quick Order uses a cooldown. Optional tip: relaunching the game refreshes cooldowns without resetting bottle progress — useful between wings during long sessions.
